This is where I came from
A home of silence and anger
Where everything is pitch black
The walls are closing in
My breath has fallen short
Your hate had made me this way
I'm in shackles from the pain you caused
I'm confined to the house of grief
These dying days are my home (are my home)
I'm at the bottom of this mountain
With a bumpy road ahead
This marks the march to the top
I'll pick the stars out of the heavens
They will be my guidance
They will follow me past the edge
In this desert that is darker
Than the heart that beats inside me
I'm coming for the death that has taken my father
The death that has taken these people
With the lies from disgust
You can't hurt me
You can't touch me
I have the Lord on my side
You will never defeat me
My home is a fortress that
You will never breach again
My mind is too strong and
My God is too powerful for your pity games
You disgust my love
This mountain was the first of many and
Nothing will ever stop me
I will share your gospel
With the strength you gave me
These gems will follow my lead
This path I walk will be walked by many
It will possess the righteousness of a soul
Once bruised but never broken and
I will never stop because
Shame will not be my legacy

Awesome! Great jam! Can't get enough! I Am is one my favorite tracks. Home is the best tho. You need to pick this album up if you like to jam with the Lamb! Ministryman77

This album is an absolute classic and the price is unbeatable for high quality listening. I wish more of Derek’s work was accessible through bandcamp, mainly Taking Up Your Precious Time. I’d love to see that pressed on CD or Vinyl at some point. Anyway, A Color Map of the Sun is well worth the $0.50. I highly recommend that you add it to your collection today!!! D-Mac
